Only 7 km from Zrenjanin, in Ečka, there is a castle called Kaštel, built in the English style between 1816 and 1829.
The castle was built by the Lazar family, and on 29 August 1820 the famous Franz Liszt was invited to play the piano at the opening ceremony.
