Everyone on two wheels - Guided tour, Žitište

After an autumn Treasure Hunt, we invite you to another themed bike ride!

On 27 September we are back with a Romanian-Serbian guided tour, local stories and educational talks about cultural, historical and natural heritage.

We will set off once again from Žitište, Serbia, and ride towards Otelec, where we will end the route by joining the “Picnic în pustă” (Picnic on the Puszta) event as a group.

The event is open to the cycling community and amateur riders, young people over 18, educators interested in extracurricular activities, and anyone with a passion for history, local heritage and slow tourism.

Transport from Timișoara to Žitište and back is provided for you and your bike.
Departure from Timișoara for participants who need transport is at 9:00. The event starts in Žitište at 11:30 (Romanian time) and ends at 16:00.

As the route crosses into Serbia, you must carry your ID card / passport.

*Water and snacks will be provided for participants during the event. For participants' safety and comfort, support vehicles will be available should anyone wish to leave the route.
